sometimes all you need is a fresh cup of coffee, cozy puppy. I wanted to share with you all my little puppy, she is actually bigger now but I miss her being so small and sweet. Yes, she still bites, is not quite potty trained and is full of energy. She is an old English sheepdog. Her name is Bailey; so when I’m home and my family yells at her, I think they are yelling at me but let’s be honest I do not pee on the carpet anymore… I feel incredibly blessed to have this beautiful pup in my life. Right before I graduated my other dog, Bettis, passed away. With me leaving for WA and my sister going to study abroad my mom was left with no “baby” so we had to get her something to take care of and cuddle with. Once she found this sweet little pup in Southern California, she made a trip with her best friend and they went to pick up our little Bailey.
I could not have been more surprised at how small she was; we had seen photographs of her but I thought she would be a little bigger! I loved her so much and she melts my heart all the time. It has also been a little tricky to potty train her because she slept outside at her mom’s house so she didn’t want to go potty outside in her “bed”. I thought she was just about the strangest puppy! Every time I come home, she remembers me and is overwhelmed with joy and happiness which then makes me feel so good.
She is growing slowly but surely and I cannot wait to see how big she is when I come home for the summer! I actually just got back from Spring Break and I loved the break from my everyday school routine at WSU. I also missed my family and the little kiddos that I watch on weekday evenings. I had a lovely visit with everyone at home. I cannot wait for more adventures at WSU to finish up the semester and my first year here! I am so excited for the big events that are coming up this week and the weeks following.
