Coffee Date #1

So, you may have noticed a new theme and a new name! I changed the theme to be more simple and I really wanted the sliding "gallery" at the top of all the featured posts. I hope you enjoy it too! The second thing that I changed was the name/url. I did this because I want to start incorporating more about my new lifestyle that I have adopted as my own, I will talk a little bit more about that soon!

I hope everyone had a lovely and safe fourth of July! I did! We went to the Pleasant Hill parade and saw all kinds of cute kids, pups, and friends. My mom kept saying how she wishes that she could have put her car in the parade. She recently purchased her dream car. A #pinkbeetle, it's a fuchsia convertible beetle 2017. She is in love with it and it is so fun to drive around with the top down on these warm summer days.

These past few weeks have been crazy busy for me. I work three jobs and took an online class for the month of June. It was incredibly hard to balance out everything but it was really rewarding and I like to stay busy. I took a special education class for my major, they are always my favorite classes. I learned lots about how to teach reading and reading disabilities. It was hard at first to juggle all the work we have packed into each week but after you get used to it and the schedule, it got easier.

Lastly, I am super excited for my upcoming trip with my brother and cousins. We are going to the beautiful Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. It is so gorgeous in the many photographs I have seen and we have plans to sit on the beach, hike, paddle boarding, and kayaking. I cannot wait!! I will be sure to post some photos on my instagram and do a blog post when I get back.
